'One Song to the Tune of Another' - the section of 'I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue' from which the clip came, is always performed to a standard which I don't believe would be achievable without at least a quick sing-through before recording the programme.

She certainly is.
In about 1974/75-ish, I saw Jasper Carrott at our small local theatre on his first major tour, and I remember being mightily impressed by a shy looking singer, playing electric piano - the support act - an unknown Victoria Wood.  Smiley

It's a bit like 'Have I got News For You'. Before the programme Merton and Hislop are shown the details so that they can rehearse their funny lines.  Having said that it is one of my favourite progs Smiley
