pierre_pierre; I saw this and thought of you

I was out for a walk yesterday and saw this fine chap. He was very friendly and came to the fence while I was taking the photo.
I thought you would like the pictures. Sorry about the quality I used the phone camera.

Re: pierre_pierre; I saw this and thought of you

This was in West Lancashire
I am not an expert but I think it's genuine. I felt sorry for him in the field on his own. Sad
He let me stroke his head and he was licking my hand.

as far as I know from my Maternal side they were Mason and Buliders, - going back to 1600's  based in Bishops Castle on the Welsh Border
The wifes family were Essex farm hands

If you fancy an original 'coo' for your wall, have a look at some of these -

The web doesn't do them full justice - I've seen some of the originals & they are very striking.

Thanks Pierre but that "Cairn" watching tele is a West Highland Terrier!
[you dont get white Cairns - but they are related in some way]
