npower

I received a letter from npower this morning stating the new easy to understand bills.
Gas prices :
                                        exc  /  inc VAT
Daily standing charge  38.0p / 39.9p
Unti rate                      3.752p/3.940p
So by my understanding 39.9p x 365 = £145.63p (if you use any gas or not)
Say you use on average 1 unit per day 3.940p x 365 = £143.80
Total bill £289.43p
Can't be right can it ?

Re: npower

No it's not right,  3.940p x 365 = 1438.1p = £14.38

Re: npower

Thanks kmilburn, guess I should learn to watch my decimal points,
Well that should work out cheaper for me than the current system.
