There's "The Truman Show" - a film on tomorrow
Quote
Satire on the intrusive nature of television in which a man's apparently idyllic lifestyle is turned on its head when he discovers the shocking truth about his perfect home town and the people who live there. Unaware that he is the subject of a reality TV show in which his whole life has been an orchestrated drama, the young man - and his addicted viewers - are unprepared for the repercussions when he discovers the truth.
Director: Peter Weir
Starring: Jim Carrey, Laura Linney, Noah Emmerich, Natascha McElhone, Holland Taylor, Brian Delate
(Widescreen, Subtitles, PG, 1998, 4 Star)

without a doubt, the only film I have seen where I didn't think he detracted from it is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Funny,  watched it with SWMBO last night, we both had a distinct feeling we had seen it before Roll eyes

I gave up on XMas TV years ago. It just annoys me now when you see the likes of Harry Potter on TV which has no xmas feel to it at all.
Honestly this really is the one time of year the stations can broadcast all those cheesy xmas films.. and do they? - No. Years ago they'd have those teasers too which would show you what they had in store for you at xmas.. now they don't advertise anything for it.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Try Freesat True Movies, True Movies 2 etc. Been loads of c****y Christmas movies on there.
