e

No, not an abbreviation for ee bah Gum...   !

just wondering if we will still have to have the ` e ` symbol on labels now that we are exiting the european Union ?

Can`t remember what it was supposed to mean/symbolise/do for us minions... but I am sure someone on the forum will enlighten me

Re: e

The "e" letter is for "Estimated", so the weight of something could be "2 Litres e"or "250G e", just as a get out clause for when you get less than specified on the label...

Re: e

Estimated as quoted, though there are strict rules on how it is calculated. If you look it up it will give you a headache -certainly have me one when I was responsible for the labelling of meat under 'packers rules' in a large meat packing company.
