Yes, we have one who calls about once a month.
The rain is pretty clean here.  Wink

Re: does anyone use a window cleaner for there home!f

we have one.... but he only cleans the front windows ( no access to the back unless we are in)...
I think it is pretty pointless, as we rarely look ou of the windows, and, of course, there is the chintzy lace curtain covering 100% of window space so nosey neighbours (?) can`t peer in at us.
I also wasted money on having my car washed yesterday...... chucking it down today, and go to go out to get it all dirty again...

When we lived in South London we had a cleaner but 'fired' him when I saw him using just one dry cloth and an empty bucket.
A couple of years ago my mother had a young (about 17) man taking up a round and he did an excellent job. Not sure if he still comes round.

We use them - not by my choice I may add.
They clean them every month for £9 which isn't too bad as it's a 4 bed detached house.
Takes them about 10 minutes to do the whole lot now they are using a new filtered water and hose extension system.

That's a keen price.  I don't use a window cleaner but my neighbour does and it costs her £12.

We've used the same guy for donkeys years!
His crew descends on our bungalow and it's all done in less than 10 minutes for £8.  Cool

I have one round every 2 weeks, charges £2.80 for my end terrace.
I had a slip of paper through the letter box a few weeks ago from someone trying to take over his customers and quoting £2.70. Our regular guy said he lost 3 customers....I wasn't one of them.

Years ago we were paying £3 per fortnight (Bungalow) that's £72 a year !
Now do it myself about once a month.
This also made me stop and think what I was paying for other things..... We got 2 Sunday Papers, one increased from £2.20 to £2.50 thats £140 a year including allowing for cancellation covering holidays. That got stopped as well.

I'm with you on the papers gleneagles.  I guess you may be referring to the ST.  Unfortunately it's not available free online. When I get home I might consider dropping it.  Most Sundays I go out for coffee to Cafe Nero and often read it there so it makes my own copy redundant.

I've not seen any coupons for a long time. Where do you get yours from?
