bright guy - clever idea

Student Adam Lynch developed a new solution to measure cell movement that could save scientists hundreds of thousands of pounds, simply by inverting a USB microscope.

I suppose there is a difference between looking down a microscope with the sample lit from below and looking up a microscope with the sample lit from above Undecided
I'm obviously missing something.
I have one of those USB microscopes beside me and it works very well.....any way up.

Yeah it's amazing when you think about it what people have achieved just by hacking existing stuff up and mixing it with other pre-existing stuff - or even creating their own bits.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!
