as thick as a Plank?

Australian police say a man who plunged to his death from a seventh-floor balcony on Sunday was participating in the internet craze of "planking".
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-13389207 or as Artmo would say Plank

Re: as thick as a Plank?

I noted in the article what they are called:
Quote
Queensland police last week warned "plankers" of the dangers of the activity, after a man was caught allegedly planking on a police car.

Should that be "plankers" or "plonkers"?

Re: as thick as a Plank?

I think there is a group on Flickr called " Face Down Friday"..... where similarly minded silly people take pics (or get others to) of themselves, laying flat out in some rediculous places....  Roll eyes
( I am not a member of that group !  Grin Grin Grin )

Re: as thick as a Plank?

Shouldn't that be the "Face down in gutter Saturday 2am" group?
