Your networks..[Large images]

Just out of interest, how big are all you guys home/office networks. Ive been told I went a little O.T.T. for a DSL connection, but i wonder if its just me!
I will try and get some pics of the setup, and can somebody give me a codeword to write on a bit of paper to put in the pic, so im not lying... Ive been accused of this before!
cp:green I have added a comment to the title that there are large images in thread. mod:end

Re: Your networks..

Thought i would explain a little about why there is so many network cables, its a pretty big place, and we managed to get permisson from the landlord to run cables through the walls, so we quite often have LAN games with a few other ppl, its great...
Well, Im not much of a gamer myself.. Im just there to make sure it all works... I suppose in winter I could just turn off the A/C and open the door, save on my heating bill Smiley
Not so good when a connection dies, and people wonder why they have no email, or such things Tongue

Re: Your networks..

It would be great to see the network diagram.
I am also interested in the ADSL load balancing.

Re: Your networks..

of course, plusnet can put a fiber into the room to use as a backhaul termination if you so want, that quite fine with me.
Chilly, I dont have an up to date diagram, but will try and put one together for you tomorrow.
RE the loadbalancing, im digging out some info on the bigIP platform now Smiley

Re: Your networks..[Large images]

It only looks tidy becuase its been tamed with about 100 cable ties.. which makes it a nightmare to trace cables!
My TV though, I have a bad infestation of cable spiders. It was neat, I swear it. And now its not.. *calls exterminator*
Maybe you guys could help, Im trying to think of a suitable name for the network, and a domain name to go with it.
Bt have collossus etc. things like that. The only reason is, up till now its been known as 'that big network that the guy down the road runs' which isnt very "snazzy" as you can imagine.
If its any help, i use a company name of DSCentral Networks... so maybe a snazzed up spin on that?
