You are invited to a meeting of the Flat Earth Society

On the agenda:
Why don't we fall off the edge of the world?
Taxes are not necessary.
Proposal; The Bermuda Triangle really exists.
Open debate; The Moon landing were filmed in the Mojave desert Arizona.
Is Brown the right man for the job?
I think we should be told why these and other vital information is withheld from the public. What do they know, that we don't?
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

Would like to add this to the agenda
"What can be done with the soggy biscuit, at the bottom of our teacups?" Can It be made into anything useful? or is it an environmental disaster?"

That's an excellent question, and just the kind of debate we should be addressing to the unknowing masses.

It could be made into bricks for house building. When someone locks themselves out of their house they can eat their way back in saving the cost of a locksmith.

Huh what soggy at the bottom of the teacup? Add a touch more tea to the cup. Swill round then it slips out of the cup and down the throat nicely  Wink

Strat, I'm jealous...I've only got a beaten up old Jap Strat, but it is a red one!! My personal favorite though was a Burns Virginian I had in the early 80's but was stolen along with a Gretsch double green Anniversary (ala Brian Jones) and a shabby no-name 12 string.
Not insured of course.

I have a tie pin, in the shape of a guitar, with the name Brian May on it...... any idea if it is worth anything?
Can upload a photo if you want....

Re: You are invited to a meeting of the Flat Earth Society

Brian May built his own guitar...of which this tie-pin is a reasonable facsimile.

I usually play my old Squire Stratocaster, the genuine Fender Stratocaster's for special occasions.

Re: You are invited to a meeting of the Flat Earth Society

Nothing wrong with Squier's at all, had one just before this Jap strat, suspect it played better and sounded better than the "real" thing. Genuine Strat's have always been a bit hit or miss quality wise. Eric Clapton (sorry; never my favourite guitarist) is alleged to have used the parts from three Strats to "create" Blackie.
