Well you can according to Joe Cocker, but what about your shoes?

An article in the Grauniad  suggests that all sorts of nasty bugs (not to mention dog poop) can be brought in by them. Me, I usually take mine off and leave them in the front porch but as we are not big on carpets in our house - apart from a few rugs, it makes little difference if folks visiting keep theirs on.

Just wipe your shoes on the way out
