Yosemite National Park

Not only is Yosemite the name for the new mac OS X, but more importantly, is the Yosemite National Park,  which celebrates its 150th birthday (even though some of its trees are 1,800-years-old)
The celebrations include a ground breaking  project restoring the Mariposa Grove, which consists of 500 mature giant sequoia trees that are among the oldest living organisms in the world.

Re: Yosemite National Park

Go during September. The crowds will have left and the weather is normally good. It is a spectacular place, even viewed from a car.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Re: Yosemite National Park

Thanks, I will look into that.
October is when we usually visit WDW for that very reason, apart from a recent opportunist trip
