Yorkshire Relish

Does any Yorshire folk know if Yorkshire Relish is still available. My wife used to love it but can't get it any more.

Re: Yorkshire Relish

I don't think Hedersons Relish is the same. Yorkshire Relish has a large YR on the label. The only place I've seen it is on a USA online site.

Re: Yorkshire Relish

That's some interesting listings in those links shutter. Some of those items are quite difficult to get here.

Re: Yorkshire Relish

Another illusive product is Taylors Mustard.
Up to a couple of years ago it could be got from the local Sainsburys but it got sparser by the month and now I cannot find it locally anywaere. Non of the major online stores appear (ASDA, Tesco, Waitrose) to stock nor does Morrison's.
I have found it here but with £4.99 postage does make it rather expensive for, say, 5 jars.
I have sent an email to Taylors but not yet received a reply.

Re: Yorkshire Relish

Thanks for that. I had already found the USA site but it seems daft toi order a UK product from the USA when it must be available somewhere in the UK.

Re: Yorkshire Relish

Think you may find that it was never a UK product.
[quote=http://www.loveirishfood.ie/brands/yr-sauce/]Although, YR stands for Yorkshire Relish, it has been made in Ireland since 1933 and is now produced in Donegal. The difference is in the tasting so next time you’re doing a shop and supporting Love Irish Food, pick up a bottle and taste it for yourself.

Re: Yorkshire Relish

Well Henderson's Relish is still made in Sheffield across the road from where the Jessops Maternity Hospital used to stand.
I don't think there is any connection between the two Lips are sealed
