I had an email from PN re Yorkshire Day Quiz and it contained one glaring inaccuracy. This being the statement "Yorkshire Day is here! And to celebrate all the best things about the country’s best county". I thought that it was well known that the country's best county was Lancashire.
In response to the question "Who doesn’t wish they were from Yorkshire?" I can say not me for one. I was born and bred in Lanky. As the old saying goes "the best thing to come out of Yorkshire is the road to Lancashire.
Lancashire has the finest black puddings from Bury, some great rugby teams such as Rochdale Hornets, fantastic football sides such as Man Utd and a superb county cricket team erm perhaps I shouldn't mention cricket.
