Would it be offensive?

Would it be offensive or against forum rules to add UKIP logo as my account picture?

Re: Would it be offensive?

It's not against the rules, however I'd be very careful when discussing politics.

It would not offend me, however if you wanted to use the logo of  one of the other 3 main parties well that would be a different matter............... Smiley Smiley Wink

Re: Would it be offensive?

Someone will always get offended no matter what you do.
I've worn a red tie at work (near general election time) people were offended.
I've worn a blue tie at work (near general election time) people were offended.
I couldn't find a blue and red striped one. Smiley

Re: Would it be offensive?

Personally I would be offended by ANY outright expression of politics.
Like religion, keep politics to yourself and don't try to impress your views on anyone else.

Re: Would it be offensive?

You beat me to it. But it is a shame that many will see the flag as some sort of extremist support.

Back to the red and blue ties, it never occurred to anyone back then that I was just wearing different coloured ties.
The political support was just imagined.
Is there a "safe" colour?

Re: Would it be offensive?

tbh I'd shy away from a political badge here. It's not against the rules, however, if it became disruptive you wouldn't be able to keep it.
