Re: Words I hate

*Enormous crack of thunder*
Now listen here orbrey.... I was kind enough to paste your misspellings without drawing attention to them.
And now you hate me?
Hmmm... Those silly headphones you are wearing look like pretty good conductors!
For penance you will post 4 times.... ‘I think God is a great bloke and very nice for not incinerating me’.
Otherwise...

Re: Words I hate

That will do nicely although that particular form of Grace normally goes:
Rub a dub dub; thanks for the grub; yeaaa God!
My favourite is:
Lord, bless this bunch as they munch their lunch. Amen
Peace be with you orbrey.

Re: Words I hate

When you outsource a task to a team of representatives in a foreign country rather than use your own, apparently it's now called right-shoring.

Words/phrases that irk?  " 24/7."    "wake up and smell the coffee"  and....
"electric hermit" who happens to be the most pompous, annoying poster that I encounter on other chat forums.

Hey Matt
I challenge you to fit those 3 into one meaningful sentence!!!
Phil

I was quite pleased to manage to get sesquipedalianism and multisyllabic into the same sentence in a post the other day Smiley

Re: Words I hate

Not words, but spelling mistakes ala "definately"
Ending sentences in "..."
Also "going forwards" is one of mine. People using "and" after a comma.  I have a very long list Smiley
