Woman dumps Cat in Wheelie Bin

I do hope this woman is identified and caught - but maybe the public will get to her first and mete out their own punishment Undecided
Cat in Bin
On a lighter note - could this be called a catastrophe  Undecided

Quote
A woman who was filmed putting a cat in a wheelie bin has been offered police protection after being identified by the RSPCA, say Sky sources.
The grey-haired suspect was tracked down after she was caught on CCTV by the cat's owners, Daryll and Stephanie Mann, at their Coventry home.
The RSPCA said she was being offered police protection because of the "backlash against her".
They would only say she is from the Coventry area.

I'm sure there's a clause in the Environmental Regulations about cats in wheelie bins Undecided

Should dump her in the big cat enclosure at local zoo.

Re: Woman dumps Cat in Wheelie Bin

I realise this this has a much darker side to it but, the cat came within a whisker of a nasty end...
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

Re: Woman dumps Cat in Wheelie Bin

But why would this woman do that?  Seems such a strange way to behave!  Even if you don't like cats you could not do anything like that surely?

Re: Woman dumps Cat in Wheelie Bin

You don't know of course if this was the first time she'd done it or simply the first time she'd been caught.

Re: Woman dumps Cat in Wheelie Bin

Just watched the video and that's completely mad.
Why would she do that? There has to be a story at the back of it.

Shouldn't that be clawstrophobia?
She deserves whatever she gets - maybe tied up in a sack and dumped in the river?

Re: Woman dumps Cat in Wheelie Bin

another prime example of pigeonhead britain:  if its not wags urinating on war memorials or yobs in hull burning down oaps  houses, its just one thing after another and simply reinforces my argument that the uk is becomming  a yob country.Yob parents  yob children.
They should whip the woman who put cat in bin.Maybe the saudies have some good ideas after all.

Re: Woman dumps Cat in Wheelie Bin

But there have always been yobs in Britain. Go back to any point in history and you will find groups of uneducated or just violent people doing this kind of thing.

Re: Woman dumps Cat in Wheelie Bin

If I was the cat owner I would be more worried about this.

8.2 Disclosure
Disclosure of images from the CCTV system must also be controlled and consistent with the purpose for which the system was established. For example, if the system is established to help prevent and detect crime it will be appropriate to disclose images to law enforcement agencies where a crime needs to be investigated, but it would not be appropriate to disclose images of identifiable individuals to the media for entertainment purposes or place them on the internet. Images can be released to the media for identification purposes; this should not generally be done by anyone other than a law enforcement agency.

Re: Woman dumps Cat in Wheelie Bin

It wasn't the cat owner who had the CCTV but a neighbour.
Don't know where your quote comes from as you don't say but it doesn't seem to suggest a problem for the CCTV owner.
