Wishing for a silent night

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2340678/Driven-wall-Pink-Floyd-4am-Neighbour-jailed-playing-...
I used to live in a flat in Southend and the downstairs neighbours loved Sinéad O'Connor 'Nothing Compares 2 U'. This was played over and over endlessly - drove me nuts. They moved out after a year or two. However 5 years later I bought
the album and loved it  Smiley
Having said the above, the loud music did cause me lots of stress and the worst thing of all was the same tune, all the time! (It was so loud I could feel the bass)

Re: Wishing for a silent night

lol
I love techno / trance / club anthems except at the weekend when our neighbour plays them through the wall every saturday evening without fail and all we can hear is the boom, boom, boom, of the bass. As crazy as it sounds I'd give anything to get a copy of his music collection  Crazy

Noise cancelling headphones can be a godsend in these cases.

Be easier to ask him to lend it to me lol but I can't say that and then ask him to keep it down at the weekends lol.

At least while he's lending it to you he won't be playing it loud Cheesy
I've never understood why some people play the same track over and over again. Maybe one repeat but even then...

Some tracks no matter how much you hear them they're just brilliant. I personally thought examples "Change the way you kiss me" was one such fine example. A really gripping tune.

Re: Wishing for a silent night

The lad next door seems to have a collection of just six tracks. I can spot them coming up: there's the one with the rap in the middle, there's the smoochy one, there's the one with the audience clapping along...and the other three.
He doesn't do this at high volume or late at night, though (at least, not very often).
I had a similar experience to shalom2010's in Uni, only in this case it was one track at one particular time of the week:

Re: Wishing for a silent night

Sounds like it Mav. Probably the worst radio station for cheesy songs being repeated... ever!
