Wimbledon

Very impressive performance by Murray today against a stylish player with good grass court pedigree. I’m glad the ‘top 4’ all came through the first week unscathed; things are starting to hot up now

I tend to concentrate on the Men’s but I’m sure the Ladies Q/F will also be good on Thursday

Re: Wimbledon

I thought the best tennis of the tournament so far was on Saturday between Baghdatis and Djokovic.  very entertaining as well Smiley Smiley
I shall be at Wimbledon again on Thursday and looking forward to it.

Re: Wimbledon

Fed on first on Centre Court in a tough match up with Tsonga then Murray, meanwhile Tomik to take out Djokovic (you read it here first  Wink) then Nadal will batter Fish  Grin on Court One.
&artmo  What tickets have got for tomorrow? Who are you likely to see?

Re: Wimbledon

We've got our usual seats on No.1 Court.  If things are on schedule it will be a good doubles day.  If weather gets in the way we sometimes get the conclusion of the mens' quarters.

Great play from Tsonga - he deserved the win Smiley Smiley  You got it wrong on Djokovic who was too strong for the Aussie.  He's certainly one to watch Wink Wink

Re: Wimbledon

Great match to watch and yes, I agree, Tsonga deserved it; to come back from 2 sets down against Fed(erer) is some performance. Nice win from Murray and Rafa appears to have overcome his injury.
Enjoy your day tomorrow artmo

Re: Wimbledon

Thanks randpwar.  We've got a day of doubles on No.1.
Just been trying to get some Centre Court tickets for a friend for Friday.  A bit like hens' teeth and won't know if I've been lucky until tomorrow morning.

Re: Wimbledon

Sony had a demonstration at Wimbledon yesterday of their 3D broadcasts.  They will be transmitting the Final in 3D and it will also be available in a limited number of cinemas around the country to see live.  I wonder how many 3D TV's there are out there Undecided

Re: Wimbledon

The Boys' Single Final is on the red button.  Our boy Broadly won the first set but then gave it away in the second.  They are now playing the final set.

Re: Wimbledon

Unfortunately Broadly last in the final set.  The Aussie came back well.
