Wii Therapy

That was interesting that I have just seen on The One Show.
An old folks home using a Wii as a form of therapy. The person interviewed said it provides some exercise, promotes hand eye coodination, encourages blood flow and general well being.
I think I'll get one Cool

Re: Wii Therapy

Funny, a programme currently on BBC1 has shown a hospital where they use them as well.

That was probably what I saw as I just noticed it out of the corner of my eye. Great idea though Smiley

Re: Wii Therapy

The same prog also showed a London hospital that put its cancer patients up in a 4 star hotel nearby.  They go into the hospital for treatment.  It works out cheaper for the hospital and the patients respond to it better.

Re: Wii Therapy

Also quoted that W H Smith and Burger King charge more in their hospital franchises than in the High Street.  Wouldn't you think this would be coovered when contracts are drawn up to prevent any embarrassment?
