Why...

Im waiting in chat for 30 mins now to cancel skytv/movies because now i have netflix which i find better and cheaper, when trying to connect to sky chat to cancel it seams to take for ever but if i want to upgrade sky chat works right away. Im sure its fixed so that you get fedup of waiting....

I had the same thing yesterday with plusnet chat and even though I was 'first in the queue', I still had to wait half an hour to be connected but to be fair to them, that's the first time that has happened. 

I know where I am, I've been lost here before.

I think they use "you are in a queue" music for the phone support for the same reason too. There's only so many times you can listen to muzak loop before you want to bounce the phone off the wall.

still waiting lol .... if i was a new customer chat works instantly, worse thing is there is no time scale.... it just says " we are busy " keep waiting.

I think Vivaldi is still being played for some DWP lines.

Absolutely infuriating. They should play Wagner and Ride of the Valkyries so you can psyche yourself up to do battle with the outsourced telephone support who can't understand a thing you're saying.

Yep, a very synthetic version of Four Seasons, often out of sync, cut off and interspersed with messages of "we're not really interested in taking your call, so go away while we sit around doing naff all", yeah, spent too much time on the phone to them myself.............

Not to mention it's royalty free, so it allows them to save money and pass these savings on to the customer. Grin
