Re: Why are you on the forum on christmas day?

Bored, fed up, and not really "into" christmas any more.... seen too many queens speeches,... eaten too many turkeys, christmas puds, and drunk too much vino/beer over the past years...Can`t wai for Jan 2nd, to be home and get back to normal life again...
Meanwhile.... Happy Christmas to all my readers !  Smiley

Re: Why are you on the forum on christmas day?

Just got in from walking the dogs (daughters not mine) about 5 miles for me but God knows how far they went. Dug up the parsnip (singular) and carrots and cleaned off the soil etc. for SWBO to cook
Now having a brief rest

Why not? It has as much irrelevance on Christmas Day as any other day  Tongue

Re: Why are you on the forum on christmas day?

Don't do xmas per say. All my close family are dead so just SWMBO and the dog to appease.
Just finished making some parsnip wine, be ready for Easter  Cheesy
SWMBO is starting lunch and we will have dinner at the normal time, just a "special" rather than a "normal" weekday one. (homemade Steak pie YUM YUM)
Can't really be bothered with all the nonsense around xmas myself. Too commercialised as it is, the shops were packed right up to closing time and they are ONLY closed for ONE day people get a life!  Crazy

HB, I know what you mean about the shops being packed.  I'm sure people buy stuff they don't really need Wink

Actually I'm looking forward to December 2015, because according to Starwars.com that's the release month for Episode 7.

Sorry HB but that just sounds nasty (me not being a fan of parsnips) but I bet it'll taste great when it's ready.
