Re: Whoops - that was expensive

not quite the same, but I wonder if the people who lend out cars realize what the borrower is going to do?
Fifth gear are sinking to the lower levels of top gear, in the last program they had a brand new 500BHP Jag that they were trying to teach the uneducated public how to drift it round a corner, that ws bad enough, talk about tyre waer and smoke, Butler Henderson instructing, she admitted she is a Tart!!!!
most got it all wrong and spun it, then one got so far our it required a fork lift to get it back on the road  Crazy Crazy

Drifting a vehicle round a corner is deliberately trying to lose traction, there should be the same penalties as a motorcyclist doing a "wheelie".

is this the answer?  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-15820069
Every year, 1.3 million people are killed and 50 million injured on the world's roads. Car makers are racing to create a vehicle that will never crash, but can it be done and will drivers accept a computer that overrides their driving?
