Plenty of sources carrying the story online so i've just linked to google instead.. but yes.. the ORIGINAL cast are resuming their characters in a new GB film - resuming from the original 1980s films (not that daft remake with McCarthy- who incidentally is a great actress)

Well they had the all female version so I fully expected a BAME one.

Was the original really released in 1980; it doesn't seem like nearly 30 years ago?  Now, how many of you stayed in the cinema until the very end?  If not, you missed the ghost coming 'out of the screen' straight at you after the end credits.

And I meant to type, "nearly 40 years ago".  Yes, it was 1984, which is 35 years ago so 30 or 40 are wrong by the same number of years (and it still doesn't seem that long ago).

I know, time speeds up after 40, or is it just me?   (Not me speeding up but me having the impression of time doing so. 😀)

Here we go guys.. the official trailer has now been released and it's brilliant.. Unlike the previous comical remake with McCarthy, this one actually seriously follows on from the previous films even showing footage from one of them.

If you liked GB you're gonna like this trailer!
