Far too many people get a poor deal from their broadband provider, with problems ranging from very slow speeds to going days without any connection at all, which just isn’t good enough.

So,that means that the quango called "OFCOM" is not doing it`s job properly, then.........

That's a bit misleading as the article states that 53% of customers surveyed have had problems over the last year rather than 50% consitently having problems now.
Still not good reading, though.
But rather than suggesting customers change supplier which could just shift the issue with them more pressure should be put on the ISP and Openreach to solve them in a timely manner.

Mind you I can see the reason behind the Virgin Media price increases.
An extra £2.99 per month is quite strong.
Only because I need the internet at the moment, don't want the hassle of switching and taking out a 12/18 month contract on Fibre (which I can get now).

Frankly all surveys should be taken with a pinch of salt, nor would I trust the opinions of anyone that agrees to one...

Yes and how do you know the person behind the survey is not being paid off by a company to give a more favourable review?
