I was a mere twinkle in my fathers eye 50 years ago, well actually 50 years ago even he probably never knew I would become a son.

Re: Where were you 50 years ago?

18, coming up 19. girls had been discovered the previous year, close to finishing my engineering apprenticeship. At the time between bands (groups then) and playing rhythm guitar in a pretty poor strict tempo dance band, but not for long though. Got a playing job in a band in a strip club. Oh boy! great you might think, don't you believe it, I stood it for about a month and was so relieved to get away from it (we were off stage incidentally, the first in and the last out playing the same eight tunes over and over again, because that was the predicted time the average customer spent in the club) the "girls" most old enough to be my mother and older, simply waited for us to begin before going into their routines several bars late....I don't think anybody noticed. Quite the most depressing life for everybody involved.
Except that is for the owner of the club.
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.
