Where can I get...

these black plastic caps that blank off a cable gland like this:

Before anyone suggests the website printed across the image they are in china and I prefer UK sellers or ebay for foreign sellers.
I can get the glands from ebay but I can't find the plugs anywhere  Roll eyes I recently bought something with 3 pre-made holes in the case (it will live outside in many weathers). I will need to use one to pass a cable through and the other two will need semi-permanent blocking. Putting in glands that are plugged seems like the perfect solution for future upgrades.
Any ideas?

Re: Where can I get...

Just realised they may well be just rubber shrouds to continue the cable thru.... so did a google, and came up with this...
http://www.cablecraft.co.uk/connect/cable-glands-accessories/nylon-blanking-plugs.html
to make it waterproof you could use silicon glue like "gasket seal"....or PTFE tape..

Re: Where can I get...

No true cheapskates here then?  Shocked
The minimum cost solution would be to simply cut a short length (~20mm) of an old cable of suitable diameter and clamp it in the gland which is, after all, designed to provide a seal with a cable.
Yes, I fully admit that the proper 'stoppers' look a lot neater.  Wink

I had thought of that, the only snag is that it's going to live outdoors in the damp and will need to protect expensive electronic equipment. Most wiring tends to be made of copper internally which corrodes so I can't take the chance of that rotting away and letting damp up through the internal sleeves. Otherwise it wasn't a bad idea but I would have gone with shutters suggestion with the plugs and sealant had 4C not found them.

If not, you could always temporarily cut a piece of cable.....  Cheesy

Re: Where can I get...

It's my understanding that they do cover glands quite well, at least in the short term.
Other brands are also available...
