I don't misspell 'misspell Wink
When attempting to do a fast two finger typing action I do tend to type fro instead of for, of instead of if and vice-versa, ot instead of to and so forth. Not so much misspelling as transposition of letters Smiley

I agree it's easy to inadvertently transpose a couple of characters, or even omit one, whilst typing.  However, much of the 'misspelling' seen in various posts is not actually inadvertent, but is because there are too many people who don't know the difference between the spelling of similar sounding words, or that of combining two words into shortened forms;
a few examples off the top of my head;
there, their, they're
two, to, too
your, you're
Shortened forms of words

TBH
It is not about, if they know the difference between 123 & XYZ, & grammar etc
It is about words that one commonly & inadvertently mis-spells (with a transposittion of letters) that spell-checkers do not pick up on

Re: What words do you inadvertently mis-spell that does not get picked

Many years ago I went to night school with SWMBO to learn typing on a manual  typewriter.
After a couple of sessions you were expected to know where the letters were without looking at the keyboard and to make sure there was no cheating  everyone had a wide black band to cover their eyes.
The teacher would then read out short words that had to be typed,
With the majority of words it made little difference if you mistyped them. But some words such as Luck, Muck. Etc could cause some embarrassment in the first letter was mistyped, and not easily deleted unless you had access to correction fluid, "tippex"
