What's your new year wish?

It's that time of year again (now that Christmas is over) when thoughts turn to the  new year. Just wondered what you folks were thinking of?  Regarding PN I hope that the company continues to prosper and provide us all with a great service (mine is first class - no complaints whatsoever).  One thing I wish for in respect of this site is that people would stop copying and pasting into replies (a little goes a long way).  It drives me mad when someone has pasted in reams of text from the previous posting (perhaps I should get a life!)

Re: What's your new year wish?

1) To start saving up for my honeymoon.
2) To get signed (visit www.nilsatismusic.co.uk and tell me what you think)
3) To pass my driving tests
4) To fix or get rid of all of the PCs that clutter my house.
Oh, and world peace and an end to all famine.  Obviously.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

1) New stupidly large telly.
That's pretty much it Smiley  Outside work and personal life I don't really have that much else that I'm aiming for and that really isn't a discussion for here Smiley

Re: What's your new year wish?

my parents got one of those wall TV's for xmas - not sure if that's a reminder of their eyesight or jsut my sister spending too much.
I plan to use the gym alot more and eat less rubbish
Oh and buy some more houses with my family - and maybe sell a few too.
Who knows what the new year will bring, have a good one folks!

I want to try and do a home study Journalism course at some stage this year Smiley
Either that or an A Level in English Language.

Re: What's your new year wish?

Yes an awful lot of reading and writing - I've applied to the new Uni of Suffolk - UCS - it means that I can do the degree close to home because they operate out of local centres as well as the main one at Ipswich.  I have to admit I'm pretty scared about it - its something that I never thought I'd get a chance to do at my age (don't tell anyone but 40+ Smiley  )

Give it a go James - I'm about to finish an Access course in English, History and Sociology - its been great - especially for someone who was very lazy at school - I've actually learnt some things this time around Smiley

Re: What's your new year wish?

I've found a fellow lazy one Smiley  All of my reports were "could do better".
But since I've found the best quote for laziness.  Laziness is the art of resting before you get tired.
I'd love to do either journalism or English Language tbh.  It's just a case of finding the time and money.
