@Minivanman

ISTR seeing that channel in the Freeview EPG, but having just checked it's no longer there for me.

I suspect it'll be one of the channels lost when a couple of multiplexes were switched off a couple of years ago in our area (to make way for yet more mobile phone bandwidth).

Re: What's on TV tonight?

Forces TV is on channel 96 Freeview... (according to the channel listing sites...)   But... if you plug in 96  it will not go there, it will revert to the current channel you are watching...

( at least is does that for me... )

Re: What's on TV tonight?

That'll be because of the missing multiplex(es) @shutter Wink

Works on our set, channel 96, now watching May to December. Transmitter details

By the way, despite the years Daisy Dukes still looks great in those shorts....

Re: What's on TV tonight?

Despite being in direct line of sight of the Crystal Palace transmitter we lost Multiplex Com7 and Com8 a few years ago after a channel reshuffle.  Multiplex Com8 no longer appears in Freeview listings, and ForcesTV and the rest of Multiplex Com7 has insufficient signal strength although they reappeared in my EPG last time I retuned.

I find this site quite handy.

As it turned out I only lasted a few minutes on the first episode with this, too much violence for me so binned it.

Re: What's on TV tonight?

@Mook

Same here, just trying to work out where I can watch it.

As for violence in the first episode I take it you mean that Time drama on BBC 1 and I have to agree. Sure there is violence and no doubt to match in prisons, but along with the plot I found it implausible which was a shame as there was some fine acting. Sean Bean's character, who I felt like giving a slap and telling him to man up, and no way was that prison officer played by Stephen Graham ever going to risk his job the way he did.

Apart from that it was... err, OK. 🤔

Re: What's on TV tonight?

Mostly fiction, I accept that but I wonder if it’s trying to get a message across to some younger people….

This is what prison is like.

We are born into history and history is born into us.

@Mook

Have you watched Inside No. 9 on BBC?

Black comedy in half hour episodes... and not a million miles from The League of Gentlemen.

Series 6 running at the moment. 🙂
