What's in a name? Who owns the sky?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-32593735
older but 'related': http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-23530337
Will BSkyB be trying to chare anyone who 'uses' the sky (since they seem to believe it belongs to them) or will we need to pay a certain newspaper if using the big round bright thing in the sky?

It wouldn't have been a problem if ol' Rupe had left it as "British Satellite Broadcasting", or "BSB"... Grin

Not much chance of taking anyone to court for 'ripping that one off' though.

Copyrighting names? Crazy.. I remember McDonalds suing a Scottish burger bar that had been trading as macDonalds for years.
then there's this one, Victoria beckham

Then a few years later, and this one came out, about the Posh name again (read it all to the end - very funny)

I seem to remember a white goods supplier in Plumstead, SE London called We Sell Fridges that had a spat with a well-known store on Oxford Street.

There was also the Canadian software developer called Michael Rowe.
MikeRoweSoft was short lived too if I remember correctly.
