What music do you like?

I'm not really into hip hop / garage and all that westernized american junk...
I DO like techno / trance / rave music. The more mysterious / mission critical / car alarmy it sounds the better 
And yes.. when I was in hospital the hospital radio asked me to pick a few tunes.. there was me with my car alarm music being played in the middle of the old timers classicals like mozart etc    Bet that woke a few of em up lol 
So.. what you guys into?

Definitely don't like techno/trance/rave... other than that I have a pretty varied music taste ranging from classical through to pop.
Particularly like rock, soul, some C&W, even MotR

I'm listening to Santana and Black Eyed Peas
I like Shostakovich as well.

I've been using spotify on my phone, and rediscovered a lot of music from my past, your question has made me realize how  my music tastes were.
Reggae , jazz, sixties rock, sixties 'flower power' woodstock type music.
I will listen to most genres except rap.

I like any music with a bit of thought and a decent tune.
Currently have "Ruiner" by NIN on at around 200W RMS to try and drag the teenage stepson out of bed ........

I like all types of music if it's good. Bias towards R & B, soul, and as I go to the theatre a lot love show music - Les Mis is always being played. I can also listen to RAP and have a number of Eminem albums.

I did go and see them when they were over in the UK a month or so ago but it was a much scaled down version with some of their older stuff. Even the wife likes their latest album and often requests it is put on at a reasonable volume

It depends on what I am doing. If I am driving under the influence of sleeping tablets I enjoy listening to anything by Brian Rampant, Fuzz Hair Toilet or Sticky Plaster Twit. If I am cutting the lawn in my slippers at 3am I prefer something a little more restrained, such as Wanton Spandex or Edna Wizards (I usually wear headphones to drown out the shouts of upset neighbours). If I am visiting the GP I like to take a boombox so I can listen to the dulcet tones of Harry's Screaming Badger or maybe Shoutyman; my favourite Shoutyman album is without a doubt Feed My Upset Donkey which was recorded during a trip to a camping shop in Essex. I thought he got a bit weak after Epic Stupidity but he found his way again with the release of My Family Are Heartless Parasites.
If I am trying to sleep I find that Wrong by Distorted Vocal Mess serves as a form of lullaby; if I put this on repeat I am usually asleep at least 20 minutes before I have to wake up again which leaves me feeling refreshed and ready to face the day ahead.
