What else could you be doing ?

Assuming you are not working what else could you be doing in this great warm weather, other that being down the pub. ?
You could always get your boots on & join me for a short walk,  https://picasaweb.google.com/103437981783078569714/DollywaggonPike
I've had a bus pass for the past 7 years so no excuses please  Wink

Re: What else could you be doing ?

Got a bowls match this afternoon, should be pretty warm.
If anybody had told me seven or so years ago that you can work up a sweat playing bowls, I would have laughed in their face...how wrong you can be!!
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

New Forest -

It's over 900 years old for goodness sake. Wink
However a walk in a forest would have been better than clothes washing today.

Just been slouched on the settee, watching F1 and whatever, watching the Blackbirds and their new fledgling and occasional posting on here amongst a spot of recycling  Smiley

Re: What else could you be doing ?

Got up as normal 0730
had brekky
got in car -- drove 30 miles and went for a ride on a steam train, ( Watercress Line ). - ( Alresford to Alton and return )  ( "over the alps" ).
got back in car. - (inside temp well over 100 f ) left doors and windows and tailgate open until it cooled down,
drove 15 miles to a pub, and enjoyed a very nice Ham Ploughmans lunch and half a pint of bitter to help it down.
Then "had to"  go shopping...... well , I did not, ---- I stayed in the carpark, in the shade, while her indoors went indoors to sort out some shopping problem.
visited friends and family on the way home, and now relaxing in front of the laptop,.... doors and windows wide open.... sun setting slowly in the west, with a Tomato sandwich and a nice pot of tea !...
What a lovely day it has been....... Smiley
