Don't get me started lol. I've been struggling to do an outside job involving car work for weeks. Freezing temperatues are delaying me badly and along with health issues I'm getting nothing done fast
To think.. this time last year we were enjoying a BBQ

My vegetable plot is just sitting there - flooded - the only thing growing is the garlic I planted last year

My veggy plot is under 10cm of snow!

Having moved house last November, I was looking forward to getting lots of jobs done outside come the spring. So what happened to the spring? 
@Strat  Do you have figures for the same dates in 2011? I seem to remember that year was even better.

Yes if I remember it was also another early stunner and the summer was a let down. The last proper summer we had was 2010. It's all very strange these days.

My lads Sea Scouts always have their annual Swamp Testing this weekend. This is where they test the seaworthiness of all the boats and safety equipment that they will be using during the boating season, very often filling boats with river water to see if they still float. They were all in shorts last year in the lovely weather and, as you can imagine, there was an awful lot of water being thrown around and kids getting dunked; think it might be a bit different this year with wet suits and cagoules probably being the order of the day

A bitterly cold weekend ahead.  At least I've got a good display of daffodils in the garden that brighten things up

Same here....... Oil change and Brake pads need doing but without a garage it will have to wait !!

Sorry I don't as I bought a new weather station late 2011 and unfortunately archived the old data in a very safe place

We've a foot of snow, and still blowing & snowing, all local roads blocked with cars/trucks, real winter conditions.

We had a very light dusting this morning. No rain. Light snow is due overnight.
York will flood when it all starts running off the hills.
