1st July 2015 maximum temperature 32.7 degrees C

1st July 2016 maximum temperature 16.2 degrees C

Sad

I actually expected a cooler than usual summer purely on the basis of the really cold blob in the North Atlantic (the SST anomaly was several degrees below normal)

30th June 29.3ºC in the shade

1st July    32.2ºC in the Shade
