No it isn't; I assume he's Australian and they're difficult enough to beat without them learning to catch properly. Great catch though

Reminds me of the time I had a hammer thrown at me. I just remember ducking slightly so it hit the metal cupboard behind me a few inches above my head. And at the same time catching it by its handle.
Sometimes I guess your body just does things without the thinking slowing you down.
