We'll keep a welcome by the seaside...

.... we'll keep a welcome in the camps.

Or maybe not if these residents have anything to do with it.

I guess they have to be housed somewhere, but 300 miles from Dover and a five hour drive seems an awfully long way.

Ah well.

Post deleted. Probably too contentious and would lead to arguments with the PC brigade.

@Baldrick1

Well that would be a shame if it does get deleted besides which, does it come under the heading of PC?

Politics maybe, but nothing incorrect about language or subject I'd have thought but as said, ah well. 🙂

I know but these are strange times we live in. I was reading this morning of a BBC radio presenter who has lost one million listeners but given a million quid a year rise because she is femail!

Not a good idea putting it there.....

If they can’t speak Welsh they are in trouble.

Very true, how do you say that you don't like lava bread and cockles with you eggs and bacon in the morning.

Just reading that barracks in Folkestone are to become UK's first migrant camp.

Around 400 people who are having their asylum claims processed will be moved to Napier Barracks in Folkestone from next week, with the Home Office looking at using other MoD sites around the country to house more people.

Starting to make a little more sense now.

One positive.

All the seized inflatable & RIB boats are being donated to worthwhile causes.

Presumably you mean sell them and given 'em the money?

Not sure our local dog rescue centre would have much use for a six seater inflatable.... but you never know.
