Is anyone else as excited about the re-release of Blade Runner as I am? Only two and a half weeks to go...

I didn't know about that...
There's been at least two releases previously - what's special about this one?

Well the previous director's cut wasn't actually done by ridley scott. This, the 'Final Cut' is. Also, "the special effects were updated and cleaned" which hopefully doesn't mean they've inserted a computer generated Jabba-the-Hut in every other scene!
What I'm really excited about though is the limited theatrical release. It's the kind of film that just has to be seen on a big screen with loud sound.

Re: Watt is your favourite films?

Is the question ment to read?
"What are your favourite films"
Or is the writer missing the point and the way it is set out ment to be funny?

I think the users name may give you a clue. I am curious as to the meaning of 'ment' in this context?
Back on topic. One of my favorite films is MASH. A new Blade Runner, I am not keeping up to date. Looks like a another DVD purchase as I don't think it will be shown here.

Re: Watt is your favourite films?

Just watched "sex lives of the potato men." Definitely one to get a few beers and your mates round for that one. By far and away the most unlikely chick flick in history.
Other reviews recently include:
Ratatouille - Good animation, but hardly on par with other Pixar
Die Hard 4 - Superb. Guaranteed to have you glued to the screen.
Evan Almighty - Entertaining, but hardly Oscar material
Sunshine - A healthy remake almost of Alien, Sci Fi fans will lap it up.
