I'll bet they've been laughing their socks off at all the fines or fixed penalties they've got away with.   Grin

Re: Wanted Irelands worst driver: Prawo Jazdy

We used to have a lot of Poles around here, but they have moved up from the lower paid jobs into the wider community - opened three shops, a cafe a restaurant and set up other businesses, some employing Scottish nationals - so are creating work.
They have been replaced on the fruit farms by Romanians and the like - I shared a bus ride home with them the other evening after drinking in town.
The advance guard have just arrived to set up for the new season - spring is not far away  Smiley

I noticed that the Sainsbury's in Basingstoke town centre stocks a Polish language newspaper. Probably for all of the construction workers in the town at the moment.

Didn't PN used to offer a service in Polish?  The link on the home page has disappeared.
Maybe they don't stay here long enough for the new products Grin

One of the PN tech support guys mentioned it only very recently, and the Forum is still there but seldom used.

A few Poles at PN Towers  in networks I think ?Huh
As you say - most Poles speak good English, and French, Russian !, German !!!. It's just us Brit's that are useless at languages.
