Vitamin D

There's a lot in the UK press at the moment about Vitamin D levels from exposure to Sunlight in the UK may be deficient in some people.
Although NHS guidance states only a few minutes  each day is all that is required to top up your Vitamin D levels, in the Summer months.
ie, a wander around the local shops.

So, I wonder if the Sunlight getting through a slightly tinted Glass panoramic Sunroof is powerful enough to raise Vitamin D levels.
Not just direct sun, but also sunlight.
Actually the UVB (ultraviolet B) radiation portion of daylight, which is insufficient in the UK over the Winter months
Not too worried, as we get more than our fair share on our travels, and a recent Vitamin Health check by our Doctor shows we are all OK with our levels, including Vitamin D

Re: Vitamin D

Forget my earlier aluminium foil suggestion. Go for Code 6 lead for hats to wear on plane trips.
