Virgin Media mobile customers being switched from BT/EE to Vodafone

Very interesting mobile customers with Virgin Media are being switched from BT/EE to Vodaphone

The contract is reportedly worth about £200m to BT, whose shares fell 4.5%.

BT will need to get more revenue from somewhere

Maybe Virgin didn't like the unexpected price rise when their contract ran out, didn't like the idea of ringing and selecting the "we're thinking of leaving" option, instead just thought stuff 'em.✌️

It may be PlusNet related when BT put up prices AGAIN to cover the shortfall

Virgin may not have received deals for new customers only

Re: Virgin Media mobile customers being switched from BT/EE to Vodafone

I feel sorry for VirginMobile customers, having had Vodafone's mobile services in the past, I found you couldn't get a stable signal even if you stood by one of their cell towers, and they're one of the oldest networks in the UK so should have had enough practice at it...

We all know what happened when they put up the price of BT Sport here. A huge number of people cancelled.

BT would be better concentrating on providing a basic connectivity service that works well rather than trying to attract customers with "entertainment".

Given the connectivity side is now Openreach's duty since they split up, BT don't really care, they just want to sell sell sell...
