VDSL during a storm

Just wondering if anyone has ever done any research into the effect of the weather on VDSL performance and / or has any idea of how DLM is affected. The other day when one all mightly thunderstorm swept over the south of England, I am reliably informed by a local weather guru as to when it hit. Interestingly, DSL Stats also showed alot of FEC errors at the same time and the only Downstream errored seconds the line has recorded.

Re: VDSL during a storm

Have a look at Wide Area Events on the Kitz website to see how thunderstorms are catered for by DLM.

Re: VDSL during a storm

That storm appears to have had a negligible impact on your line.

Thanks @Browni that was very helpful, so basically as everyone else in the area should have been seeing the same thing, DLM should recognise it.
