Usergroup forums

Hi
What's the point or difference between this community forum and the UserGroup forums?
Wonder if I've missed something out  Cool
Thanks

Re: Usergroup forums

A Usergroup should be quite different from a Community Forum. The Usergroup members would be actively present group views in a structured, coordinated and tracked method to the supplier with effective feedback pathways. The community forum is rather more random and contemporaneous.

Both should have active postings.  Wink

@AlaricAdair
Have you actually looked at the activity on the usergroup forums?

Re: Usergroup forums

Looks about the same to me except that it's nothing like as much used.

It looks dormant to me that UserGroup, unless there's a secret one!  Wink

Re: Usergroup forums

There are.
I just can't see the point of keeping most of the public side open when it results in people posting asking for assistance and getting no reply for days (I've often been the first to respond and I'm no longer a member of PUG).

That seems to me to be an excellent summary of what it should be. In the past I have refrained from registering with PUG as I spend so much time on this forum, but maybe it's about time that changed.
