Re: Useless information - part three

At those temperatures, have you considered using it as warm air heating for your house in winter?

What unit of measure is a "1f/m"?

one feet per metre?

Re: Useless information - part three

@VileReynard  Cheesy

Every year, when the MOT is due.... I take the car on a "high rev" run, up the local motorway...  about 5 miles up and 5 miles back... do this several times... ( probably about 3 return trips, ) in 4th gear at 60mph... this clears the DPF and also gets the engine to a "working temperature" for the smoke test.

as for the 1 f/m   haven`t a clue... those figures are reproduced exactly how they appear on the test report sheet.

(the car is 2011 Skoda Fabia 1.6tdi 105bhp )

New evidence suggests that the Dunning-Kruger effect doesn't exist - people who don't know what they're talking about are aware of that fact.

Do they mean us, or is it just me? 🤣

Re: Useless information - part three

According to Wikipedia,

"In the field of psychology, the Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people with low ability at a task overestimate their ability."

So if both Dunning and Kruger are rubbish at psychology, this effect doesn't exist.

In 2000, Kruger and Dunning were awarded an Ig Nobel Prize in recognition of the scientific work recorded in "their modest report".

Nothing is truly empty.

Even when there is nothing in it, a container is full of emptiness.

The largest UK postcode sector is 'IV27 4' (Lairg, Sutherland) at 1400 sq miles.
