Used tea bags

What do you do with used tea bags ?

I have been chucking them in the compost bin but 12 months later when I come to use the rotted down stuff I find that the  fibre or whatever the bags are made from has not rotted.

My dear old Mum used to burst them and chuck them over the fuchsias.

I had to tidy up every now and then as it used to get a bit messy looking sometimes.

You could use them to make explosives!! (I thought I read that somewhere)
