Urban Speak

I noticed a post where someone used the phrase "My bad" so I looked it up on Urban Dictionary.
Some 'interesting' definitions there including
'A way of admitting a mistake, and apologizing for that mistake, without actually apologizing.'
and
"Basically, saying "oh yeah, I did that, but I don't care". '
and best of all in my opinion
'Used very commonly by gangsta-wannabes and other sorts of conforming posers,'
None of which I am quite sure apply in this particular case. Smiley

Re: Urban Speak

I think
My bad Sad
or
My bad  Embarrassed
are both adequate. If it is used without the smilie I agree it looks more like "oh yeah, I did that, but I don't care".
(My bad  Grin wouldn't be acceptable!)

Re: Urban Speak

it's used a lot at work, better than some things that are said.
Strat - think you need to read a page of Urban Dictionary every night to keep up with the kids Tongue
