I think if you have a signiture you shouldn't be allowed to turn off viewing others'

I know what my sig is... and don`t want to keep reading it over 10,000 or more times ! ! ! !... some other sigs really annoy me... so best to have them turned off and I don`t get annoyed then...

Strat, I have just checked with Google translate: they have the translation as: "it is forbidden to forbid".
I have a very inadequate understanding of the French language, but I do have a high intuitive sense of it.

Thnx Shutter, I hadn't realised you could turn off signature display.  A whole lot better now

Just tried that myself. Looks much better and uncluttered with the sigs turned off.
Just the avatars is enough and they don't take up any extra real estate.

Maybe sigs are something that needs to be considered. It seems the posters with some of the biggest sigs are those that have them switched off

I resemble that remark........ I have them switched off, because some of them have really stupid animated emoticons, which are distracting and annoying, when seen over and over and over and over and over again.... with ordinary text sigs there is no problem.....
