Re: Trustpilot Reviews

I think in general most reviews come from those who are dissatisfied for whatever reason.

Reading a few complaints on here indicates in some cases people have very little patience for things that aren't fixed immediately. I agree the CS has diminished somewhat of the last few years and reading reviews like Trustpilot would put me off PN but I've been with them for 8 years+ and only had two problems one fixed within 2 hrs (phoneline) the other did take 2 mths to sort but once it was I've never had problem since with my BB connection.

Regards the phone wait time I find it the same as my electricity company and in some cases shorter than my car insurance company, by no means only a PN problem - IMO of course.

Re: Trustpilot Reviews

Plusnet was the best at one time, but it's now one of the worst.

That rating is a tad unfair though. Maybe a 5.

However current call waiting time is over 50 minutes, so nothing new there.

Re: Trustpilot Reviews

Must be over 2 years ago I looked at TP reviews of PN. From my recollection it seemed even then the rating was lower than reports from other sites. The info here about their business model does not inspire me with confidence.

No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

You have put the full stop in the wrong place.

Re: Trustpilot Reviews

Plusnet have relied on their Awards on their adverts , but this is not a true representative sample of customers Undecided

the sample size of 1,700 people who voted this year 70% voted for PN .

But overall this must only be .2% of customers Lips are sealed so if you took a sample 3,400 would only 35% be satisfied ?

@rongtw

Sample size required is more more complicated than may be thought.

If the population of PN users is 850000,as your maths seems to say and the sample assume a confidence level 95% with 3% error margin, then the sample is more than adequate.

Re: Trustpilot Reviews

"We asked a hundred people who would win the last election", as they might say on certain game shows.
