Trans, fluid, neutral or....

At the age of 73 I have now decided to identify as being only 65.

Do you think I might get away with it, or will I need some sort surgery?

Re: Trans, fluid, neutral or....

I felt 25 till I was in my mid-40s, then I started recognising the older face I saw in the mirror.  I don't photograph well so the photo I took the other day for my "Older Persons Freedom Pass" shows someone who is either very angry or incredibly sad.  Unlike passport applications, there are no instructions not to smile, but I didn't want to take any chances, and the photo booth said my photo met the requirements for ID.  When I look in the mirror I look quite good for my age.

I look ok in the mirror, or not, but if I look at the image on my phones forward facing camera I'm thinking who the hell is that.

Where cameras are concerned, I make sure I'm always behind the lens.

The older I get, the earlier it gets late.

@billnotben

Not sure how it works or how it is corrected but isn't there something about the image we are presented with in a mirror is not how others see us because it's reversed?

As usual, I'm sure I read it somewhere!

Like making the aperture in a camera smaller, I find squinting up my eyes makes me look much younger - which is all that matters. Sod everybody else. Wink

Now where did I leave my hair dye.

Well if that's the case @Minivanman shouldn't you look 37 to others. Roll_eyes

As long as we stick to written descriptions and don't start to post mug shots of ourselves I'm ok with that !Wink

Well I've been told I'm a dead ringer for Quasimodo!

Ouch, topical and bad at the same time. Buck2

Re: Trans, fluid, neutral or....

We have a board at work with (mainly) mobile phone photos of most of my colleagues, and I have trouble recognising even the ones I know well, from those photos; possibly to do with the quality of phone cameras or the distance from which the photos were taken.

Wasn't he the one who used to carry his food around everywhere in a rucksack?  The Lunchpack of Notre Dame?

So he didn't have a skeletal deformity, it was just his lunchpack.  I seem to remember Linford Christie being thought to carry his lunchbox under his running outfit causing a protuberance.

Re: Trans, fluid, neutral or....

At last some common sense as this 'lady' loses 'her' appeal against those testosterone rules. What with that and the transgender weight lifter wiping out those four female world records, in some quarters sport participation has become a joke.

Anyone for tennis?
