Tour de Yokshu

I`m very surprised that nobody from Yokshu has mentioned this event.... I vaguely heard something on the news last night that it is a 3 day event... and it`s being shown LIVE on ITV4 right now ! .

Re: Tour de Yokshu

I seem to recall that the reason the Tour de France was first introduced was so schoolchildren and others could follow the route, and have some understanding of the geography of that country - so does the 'Tour de Yokshu' have the same sort of intent? Smiley

I had one as a kid, in the 90s, cos my dad wanted one as a kid, and I got one, the only kid for miles around on a Raleigh Chopper, when BMXes and Mountain bikes were the thing to have.............. Roll eyes

That and a pedal go kart.

I had to settle for a tricycle with a big red boot for towing my big toy car transporter.

@Minivanman As TdF is over a hundred years old are you hiding your real age Wink

We were at the start of 2005 tour in Challans and I ended up on Fr2 as the only person who'd talk to reported in my poor French. My interview was shown twice much to surprise of people we stayed with.

@nadger  I wonder if it's being shown on the French version of "It'll be alright on the night" Smiley

P.S.  My French is not very good either.
